1. General Principle

Confirmed reservations on Le Case di Bettina are refundable only if the cancellation request is received within 24 hours of payment confirmation. After 24 hours, the reservation is considered confirmed and is not eligible for a refund.

2. How to calculate the 24-hour deadline

The 24-hour period begins from the moment the booking is confirmed (i.e., from the moment payment is completed). The cancellation request must be submitted no later than 24 hours after the confirmation timestamp.

3. Purposes and legal bases of the processing

Cancellation requests must be submitted through one of the following channels:

In the request, please indicate: full name, reservation number, dates of stay and the date/time of the reservation.

4. Refund disbursement

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be made using the same payment method used for the booking (e.g., PayPal, card via Wix Payments).

  • Crediting times depend on the payment circuit and the guest's bank/provider. The cardholder will process the refund promptly after verifying the request, but cannot influence the bank's processing times.

  • Any fees or charges applied by the payment provider are not the responsibility of the property, unless otherwise communicated.

5. Internal procedure and confirmation

  • After receiving the request within 24 hours, the facility will verify the data and issue the refund via the gateway used (operating instructions at the bottom).

  • Once the refund has been processed, the property will send the guest a written confirmation (email/WhatsApp) with the transaction reference.

6. Cancellations after the deadline

Requests received more than 24 hours after payment confirmation will not be eligible for a refund; the amount paid will be retained as a penalty.

7. Cancellations by the property

If the property is forced to cancel the reservation for reasons beyond the guest's control (e.g., closure, unavailability due to force majeure), the guest will be entitled to:

  • full refund of the amount paid, or

  • rescheduling of the stay under equivalent conditions, at no additional cost.

8. No-shows and early departures

  • In the event of a no-show or early departure, there will be no refund for unused nights, unless otherwise specified in writing by the property.

9. Disputes

Per eventuali contestazioni non risolvibili in via amichevole, le parti potranno rivolgersi alle autorità competenti o ad un organismo di risoluzione delle controversie. La legge applicabile è la legge italiana.

10. Accounting Information

All refund transactions will be recorded and stored for accounting and tax purposes in accordance with current legislation.
